Application Processing
OGSLP supports an array of application processing and loan counseling products.
We have valuable relationships with our lenders that provide products that
work uniquely for our Oklahoma schools. OGSLP’s School and Lender Support Services
department works closely with our clients and supports our schools and
their product choices. If you have questions on any of the products you
are currently using or considering, you may contact one of our School and Lender Support Services representatives at 405.234.4329 or 800.247.0420.
OGSLP’s Disbursement
Service
OGSLP’s Disbursement Service is a “one-stop shopping” approach
for student loan disbursement data, funding and customer service. The service
works for all types of school disbursements: Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT),
Master Check or Individual Student Checks. You will receive a weekly forecast
report that lists your school’s anticipated disbursements for the next
30 days. Another great feature to experience is the power of real time changes
to disbursement data. You may contact School and Lender Support Services for additional information
on this service at 405.234.4329 or 800.247.0420.
Guarantee, Disbursement, and Servicing Data (GDSD)
Through GDSD, you have instant access to any loans that are guaranteed by the Oklahoma Guaranteed Student Loan Program. You have
control to provide your students with accurate and
timely information. This is a great tool to administer loans beginning when
the loan guaranteed and until it is disbursed.
Enhanced change transaction capabilities
You
can make the following changes:
Instant disbursement adjustments
Combined disbursement requests and date changes
Subsidized and unsubsidized reallocations
Demographic information updates
Full loan cancellations
Disbursement cancellations, reinstatements, increases and date changes
Increase accuracy
Before you submit your change transactions, you can preview or print them
for verification purposes.

If you’re not familiar with this product, Default Prevention School Tool (DPST) is the perfect solution to maximize resources to combat student delinquencies. You can alleviate bulky paper files while implementing a successful default prevention plan. DPST is a single database with multiple functions. DPST was designed, programmed and tested by our Default Prevention department and is provided at no cost to our educational institutions. See below for a list of features:
School Tool Version 1.4:
• Ability to target accounts at various delinquency level
• Accounts are set up in a workable queue
• Retention of comprehensive notes
• Stronger emphasis placed on focusing efforts upon cohort accounts
• Allows detailed reporting functionality by cohort year and days delinquent
• Stores an unlimited number of phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses
• Reporting tools include a format for exporting to Excel
• Letter generation includes adding school logo and address information
• Adds address and phone search to an enhanced SSN and name search capability

DPST is currently in use at 14 Oklahoma campuses. Mary Kay Ford, Platt College says, “Often the only thing necessary to avert the default is to give former students a tap on the shoulder to let them know that we’re concerned and that we want to help. DPST helps us give students that tap on the shoulder and is an effective tool for preventing defaults.”
Contact us today to upgrade to the new 1.4 version or to see a DPST demo. Ask for Wayne Sparks, OGSLP’s Default Prevention Manager, at 405.358.5460 or 800.247.0420. Our Default Prevention team is trained and readily available to help schools with their default prevention needs.

National Student Clearinghouse
OGSLP is a member of the National
Student Clearinghouse. The Clearinghouse is the nation's largest source
for post-secondary student degree and enrollment verification. Through the
verification reporting solutions, the Clearinghouse helps colleges and universities
improve efficiency, reduce costs and workload, and enhance the quality-of-service
they provide to their students, alumni, lending institutions, employers,
and other organizations.
All of the programs are designed to reduce the member schools' administrative burden of providing educational record verification while maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of records in full compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
The Clearinghouse has a 10-year track record of working with higher education professionals to transform student enrollment and degree verification.
OGSLP also participates in the National Student Clearinghouse Total Enrollment Reporting Process (TERP). Our participation benefits our lender and servicer partners in the following ways:
Channeling enrollment data through a single source, eliminating redundant enrollment reporting from multiple sources and formats.
Delivering enrollment data faster for schools not participating in the Clearinghouse.
Eliminating duplicate enrollment records.
Improving the customer service that lenders and servicers can provide to their borrowers and school customers by having the most accurate enrollment information, reducing the likelihood of premature conversion and processing in-school deferments more timely.
Through its participation in TERP, OGSLP directs to the Clearinghouse applicable enrollment data that OGSLP receives. This data includes weekly NSLDS enrollment updates and enrollment updates provided directly to OGSLP by schools, including foreign schools. TERP centralizes enrollment reporting at the Clearinghouse, creating a single, reliable source for student-enrollment information. In turn, the Clearinghouse collects, checks, and distributes the enrollment data to participating Clearinghouse lenders and servicers.
