Application Processing

We support an array of application processing and loan counseling products. We have valuable relationships with our lenders that provide unique products tailored to our Oklahoma schools. Our School/Lender Support Services department works closely with our customers and stands behind our schools in their product choices. Disbursement Service

Our Disbursement Service is a “one-stop” approach for student loan disbursement data, funding and customer support. The service works for all types of school disbursements, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), master checks or individual student checks. Subscribers to this service get a weekly forecast report listing their anticipated disbursements for the next 30 days, and can track disbursement data in real time with up-to-the-minute changes. Guarantee, Disbursement and Servicing Data (GDSD)

GDSD gives you the access to provide your students with accurate and instant information about any loans we guarantee. This is a great tool for tracking and managing loans from guarantee through disbursement.

With the GDSD's enhanced change transaction capabilities, you can:

Instantly adjust disbursements
Combine disbursement requests and date changes
Reallocate subsidized and unsubsidized funds
Update demographic information
Cancel full loans
Handle disbursement cancellations, reinstatements, fund increases and date changes

GDSD also helps increase accuracy by letting you preview or print change transactions for verification before submitting them. Users of GDSD also get more detailed information, such as:

Loan type
CommonLine® ID
Guarantee date and amount
Certified loan amount
Disbursement status with dates and amounts
Print and guarantee application and status
MPN code and information
Error correction
Details about why the loan isn't guaranteed

DocumentDirect

DocumentDirect is a service that allows schools and lenders to securely access, view and print student loan-related reports online. DocumentDirect provides users with a secure recipient ID and password to access reports. DocumentDirect provides the following benefits:

Access through an Internet browser
No cost to the user
More timely information
A permanent record
Print locally
Export data to a spreadsheet for more in-depth analysis

Early Assistance

We supplement default prevention requirements with a proactive, early assistance initiative designed to encourage borrowers' successful transition into the repayment phase of borrowing. Research indicates this interim contact is helpful to borrowers and contributes toward a reduction in delinquencies and defaults.

Early Assistance strives to target borrowers before their repayment starts and guides them toward acceptable repayment plans, available deferments and forbearance options.

Early Assistance can plan on-campus visits to help with:

Exit counseling (one-on-one or group settings)
Borrower issues, questions and concerns

Default Prevention

Our Default Prevention team trains schools to create unique and effective default prevention programs. We can provide customers with:

Default prevention staff training for financial aid offices
Training manuals
Default Prevention School Tool (DPST)
Publications
Cohort rate analysis, including:
- School’s current year cohort rate and draft analysis
- Executive summary of analysis
- Comparative rates of each school's sector (four-year, two-year, proprietary & technology)
Behind-the-scenes tours to help customers learn how we work delinquent accounts
Regional workshops to discuss best practices
Seminars and assistance with:

- Freshman orientation
