Q. What is the trigger for the 2007 loan limits?
A. The trigger for the increase in loan limits is effective for loans first disbursed on or after July 1, 2007. The November 1, 2006, Final Regulations clarified the trigger event. In prior guidance, the trigger was for loans certified or originated on or after July 1, 2007.
