Oklahoma
Jump$tart Coalition
On June 23, 2004, members of the Oklahoma Jump$tart Coalition for
Personal Financial Literacy held their first annual meeting and signed the
affiliation agreement to become an official state charter of the National
Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy. The Oklahoma charter’s
vision is to make a positive difference in the future of Oklahoma families
by helping youth and adults improve their financial well-being. Click

OGSLP Continues
to Waive Guarantee Fee
As OGSLP announced at our School and Lender conference, we will continue
to waive the 1% guarantee fee until June 30, 2005. The waiver applies
to all Federal Stafford and PLUS loans.
ED Issues
Guidance for Post 120-Day Late, Loan Disbursements
OGSLP earlier advised of the late disbursement provisions resulting from
the November 1, 2002 Final Regulations in the October
15, 2003 edition of Online News. Recent information
was received from the Department of Education about the process to be
used when requesting a late disbursement. Click
