PLUS Application Response Files--Common vs. MPN (Must reply by June 23, 2004)
NOTE JUNE 23RD "REPLY BY" DATE BELOW
This e-mail is being sent to remind schools about the required use of the PLUS MPN for loan periods beginning on or after July 1, 2004, or for any loan certified on or after July 1, 2004, regardless of the loan period.

In conjunction with this change, all schools will be profiled so that beginning July 1, 2004, PLUS Application Response Files will be returned to you in the PLUS "MPN" format. UNLESS YOU REPLY BY *****JUNE 23, 2004***** THAT YOU WANT TO CONTINUE TO RECEIVE THE PLUS RESPONSE FILE IN THE "COMMON FORMAT," YOU WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY PROFILED TO RECEIVE THE PLUS MPN FORMAT ON 7/1/04. Please reply to Penny Gandy at the contact information listed below.

The option for receiving the PLUS Common Application Response File format will not be continued indefinitely, but is being extended to allow programming time for our schools. If you do request to continue to receive the Common Application Response, we would like you to also include the approximate amount of time you will need to complete your programming.
