New Staff Members to Join Client Relations Team- Effective July 1, two new team members are being added to the Client Relations department. Cohort Default Rate Guide Available On-Line - Schools can view a list of changes made to the original version of the Cohort Default Rate Guide, published August 2001, at the following website. Mapping Your Future Chat Event on July 8, 2003 - Mapping Your Future will offer an "On-Line & Distance Education Chat" from 6-7 p.m., July 8, designed to help students, who are interested in on-line or distance education, learn more about these types of programs and find out about financial aid. Correction to Economic Hardship Deferment Form - A minor typo was corrected in the first bullet of Section 3 of the Economic Hardship Deferment form. The Department of Education approved the correction and a revised form is now available on OGSLP's website. Organizations Rally for $200-Million Supplemental Bill to Finance AmeriCorps (The Chronicle of Higher Education) - "Corporations and nonprofit organizations are rallying around a supplemental $200-million appropriations bill to ensure that AmeriCorps, the national-service program, will have enough money to operate effectively next year," reports The Chronicle of Higher Education. July 1 Regs in Force - Remember, on July 1 there were numerous regulatory changes that became effective. Just in case you may have missed this stuff, we are providing links to two presentations.
