Senate Bill 596 Provides Educational
Opportunities
for Students
Recently the Oklahoma Senate passed SB 596 by a vote of 32-10. SB 596
authorizes undocumented, immigrant students, to be enrolled in state system
colleges and universities, to be eligible for institutional non-resident
tuition waivers, and to be eligible to receive state-funded student financial
aid. The bill was amended on the Senate floor and the full text, including
