PLUS Loan Application: The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has
approved the "new" Federal PLUS loan application materials (which
consist of the PLUS Application/ Promissory Note and the Endorser Addendum).
OGSLP Now a Meteor Project
Sponsor: OGSLP has joined a growing list of project sponsors for the
Meteor Project. The project team is comprised of student loan industry
participants, backed by the National Council of Higher Education Loan
Programs (NCHELP), who are working hard to provide you and your students
with a web enabled product that allows for viewing all of a student’s
financial aid data from one single source
Teacher Loan Forgiveness and
Unpaid Refund Discharge Forms Released: The U.S. Department of Education
(ED) recently approved two forms for the Teacher Loan Forgiveness Program
and an unrelated form for the Unpaid Refund Discharge Program
Common Manual Update:
The Common Manual Governing Board recently approved changes that modify
policies contained in the July 2001 version of the Common Manual. These
changes are identified in OGSLP’s Common Manual Update (CM-57) .
