OGSLP Introduces New Electronic Online Newsletter: Welcome to the premiere edition of OGSLP's Online News! As a subscriber to either the OASFAA or Lender listserv, you were automatically subscribed. OGSLP's Online News will be published on a bi-weekly basis or more frequently as needed

U.S. Department of Education Unveils New Technical Standards Beginning January 1, 2002, for Schools: The U.S. Department of Education (ED) sent a reminder to schools of the new minimum PC hardware and software requirements effective January 1, 2002. Schools will be required to meet these new minimum technical standards for the 2002-2003 award year.

OGSLP Establishes Implementation Date (G-Date) for Common Claim Filing: OGSLP has established September 30, 2002, as the date that it will begin trading claim-filing records using the new CCI CAM format.

ED 799 Form with New Expiration Date Available for Lenders: The U.S. Department of Education (ED) released the ED 799 Form (Lender's Interest and Special Allowance Request and Report) with a new April 2002 expiration date.
