Establishing Repayment
A student loan is due in full upon default. If the borrower cannot afford to pay the note in full, the borrower can be setup on a monthly payment plan to pay the debt in full in 10 years or less (minimum $50). If the borrower cannot afford a regular payment plan, he or she will be required to complete and return a financial questionnaire for a reduced payment plan. This process will be reviewed annually. Contact us for payment options.
Reasonable and Affordable Payment Plan
Our office is prepared to establish a repayment plan to meet your financial situation and pay off your defaulted educational loan. In order for our office to evaluate your individual situation, we must have documentation of your financial status.
After you have talked with our office about your payment plan, you may download the Questionnaire form (see below) to be filled out in detail or you may contact our office for a printed copy.
You are required to send verification on all items listed on the Questionnaire that ask for verification. Failure to submit verification will cause this office to set your payment at a regular payment amount and not a reduced amount. Upon receipt of the completed Questionnaire (and verification) our office will evaluate your situation and may adjust your repayment plan. You will be notified of this arrangement by mail in the form of a Repayment Agreement, which is to be signed and returned. Failure to complete and return the Questionnaire may result in further collection action.
